Think About This Instead of the Forecast

With a winter forecast of upteen inches of snow, I needed something to brighten my day.....

I sure feel better now, reminding myself that I have this to look forward to after a dab of planning, a little work (OK, make that alot of work). It will be here in a blink of an eye....if we can just get through this snow. It's the last big snow of the year. I can feel it. How about you?

This is the only farm I know of that doesn't have an established garden. There must have been one here at some point, somewhere...

I miss my other farm's garden....

I should plant one here... I almost did...cleared off the area and everything....and then we put a pool in that spot! lol

You should be very proud of that garden. It is beautiful!

Yeah, we got tons of snow today, also. Right now I am trying to keep focused on next years garden, too. Thanks for the inspiration!

Here it is. The snow which was to start last night is just now coming down, Feb 1st at 9:10 am. Also, the TV cable has returned, so even tho I'll be shut in for the day, at least I can watch TV. Oh what problems we have (lol). The family is away so it will be quiet here. (I'll probably just sit here waiting for something to happen)

Don't wake me if I'm dreaming. I wish I was in that garden where not all bunnies are welcomed. Wish we were on the back porch, swinging, drinking iced tea and eating your version of my salsa recipe. MMMMMMMM. Smooch.

Nicky...you crack me up with "Your version of my salsa..." that DOES sound good right now, doesn't it?
This is a lovely post, Sherry...I feel so warm and cuddly inside!

So if we buy you a couple of seed packets, when do we come pick up our veggies?? I am so jealous. I can't even keep a house plant alive. We kill a few bushes a year. And I so like fresh veggies! Maybe when Mom and Dad move down I can send the kids over there as cheap labor and have them get some gardening SKEEEELS.

I am so glad you stopped by my site earlier and I was able to connect to yours. I love the duck babysitting story. Believe it or not my parents had duck drama one week. I love your garden pictures.

Nice Garden! I love love love to garden, but in our current living situation, it's not really possible. I can't wait to move to a place with space. I too love to grow zinnias. They are so beautiful!

Thanks for visiting my blog!
