MISSY

1994-2008

It's OK Missy.

Annie was waiting for you and she's been calling to you for a little while now.

We'll take good care of Grandma for you.

Please check on Skippy for us. You remember her, don't you? She used to come in and steal that expensive dog food that Grandma always bought for you.

See that pretty dog with the golden feathers? That's Candy. She belonged to your mommy years ago. She was a good dog too. And that Schnauzer that keeps nuzzling you? That's Mitzi. And the collie that's bounding over to say "hi"...that's Tippy. She was first. You probably don't remember Prissy, Konga, or Checkhov.....they lived here for a summer once upon a time. I'm sure they came to greet you today. Once upon a time, they were all part of our family here. Now you are part of their family there.

We'll miss you.

Oh Sherry, I was so happy to see that you were posting two days in a row...until I read why.

I am so sorry to hear that you have lost Missy. I know you all will be sad without her around.

So sorry to hear the bad news...but I am sure Missy is living out her heavenly life as a springy pup...so sad though...my heart goes out to you and your family.

Sherry - I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope your other friends will help heal the hole in your heart. Knowing Missy is with your other friends helps -- when we lost Sierra in March my 5 year old told me what she thought doggie heaven was like and it was so comforting to think of her with our other pets.

I'm so sorry, Sherry and family.

I had a Tippy once too...a long, long time ago. Maybe Missy will meet up with my Tippy and my Duke.

Love you.

Thank you Sherry for the tribute to my little Missy. I held her in my arms while she quietly went to sleep. It was a decision that had to be made since she would never get well again. I can just see her & all the other good pets, running around in lush green meadows. (as a youngster she could really run fast, for such short little legs). In her healthier life she usually weighed 5 lbs, a 5 lb ball of love and long fur. 'Miss Ellie's Little Miss' we all say goodbye.

Oh, that's so sad. Poor Annie. And just think that she was MY age when she died. I think it's good that most dogs live that long. I hope you did something real special for Grandma's b-day.

what a wonderful way to say good bye to Missy. They have such short lives compared to us and it hurts so much to let them go. It is worth the pain to have them in our lives.

I'm so sorry, Sherry.
When we lost our Dukey Dog several years ago, I realized what a huge hole is made when a pet dies.

I miss reading your posts!
Hope to see you soon.
